The RuralMED Mobility project is heading to Slovenia for its next big milestone. From June 16 to 18, 2025, partners will meet in Bohinjska Bistrica for the 4th Transnational Forum. The event, hosted by BSC Kranj, will focus on the implementation of the project pilot activities.
On June 17, project partners will participate in a full-day working session to review key areas: project management, administrative tasks, investment progress, and communication planning. The Steering Committee meeting will help align upcoming actions and resolve pending issues as the project moves into its third reporting period.
Focus on pilot implementation
A central part of this 4th Transnational Forum will be dedicated to pilot updates. Each participating region—Spain, Croatia, Portugal, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Italy, and Greece—will share the latest developments of their local pilot actions. The forum will also introduce the RuralMED Mobility monitoring platform, which will play a key role in tracking impact and supporting decision-making.
On June 18, participants will take part in a study visit to the Slovenian pilot, currently under implementation in the Bohinj region. This will offer a practical look at how electric mobility is being introduced in a rural and natural environment, with insights from local actors.
RuralMED Mobility project gathers 13 European partners with the aim of adopting electric mobility in underserved rural mediterranean areas. The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg Euro-MED Programme.
