
On February 25-26, 2025, the RuralMED Mobility project held its third Transnational Forum in Pegognaga, Mantova province, Italy. The meeting, hosted by the Consorzio Oltrepò Mantovano, gahered over 30 participants, including project partners and stakeholders. During two productive days, they discussed the project’s progress, pilot investments, and the reporting process.
During the event, the partners presented the seven planned pilot investments across different regions, highlighting their locations, objectives, and the expected impact on rural areas. CIMNE, one of the project partners, introduced the platform designed to monitor the performance of these pilots. This platform will track real-time data, ensuring optimal implementation and outcomes.
In addition to the technical presentations, the participants had the chance to visit the pilot project of the Italian partner in Suzzara, where they were accompanied by the mayor of the town. Also, a study visit to the IVECO transport and commercial vehicle factory was organized.
The forum strengthened cooperation among partners and advanced efforts to implement sustainable mobility solutions in rural Mediterranean areas.
